MMS Mission DIS on NASA WEB Site
We would like to draw your attention to NASA WEB site shown below, wherein you will see Meisei Electric-manufacturered and -built DIS (Dual Ion Spectrometer) instrument. A photo, which shows our colleagues working together with researchers at MSFC (Marshall Space Flight Center) in Alabama of the U.S., is introduced as well. The DIS was designed and developed in collaboration with NASA, SwRI (Southwest Research Institute, USA), IRAP (Research Institute in Astrophysics and Planetology , France) and JAXA. On the 1st March, 2012, we delivered the initial 2 units of DIS to MSFC among 16 units in total to be manufactured this year.
