"AKARI" Detected the Light from the First Stars of the Universe

“Japanese first infrared astronomy satellite “AKARI” (ASTRO-F) , which was launched in 2006 and has been operated until June 2011, observed the light considered to have been released by the first star borne in space after the space birth approximately 13, 700 million years ago”, the JAXA disclosed on the 21st October, 2011.

On the “AKARI” the far-infrared rays observation equipment electron circuit, the observation processing circuit of infrared camera, and the cryostat to cool the camera developed by Meisei Electric were mounted and contributed to its observation.
