Now Meisei Electric's Onboard Cube Satellite "WE WISH" Flies to the Space !!!
On June 15, 2011, the Cube Satellite “WE WISH” relating to a cubesat-releasing demonstration mission from "Kibo" was adjudicated by Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) .
Meisei Electric has applied for this mission to release cubesats from Japanese Experiment Module "Kibo" of International Space Station (ISS) invited for participation in March 2011.
As a result of adjudication, the cubesats designed by three organizations were chosen as the onboard satellites, among which our satellite named "WE WISH" was adopted as the one.
The "WE WISH" will perform her mission in the concept of "monitoring and investigating very closely global environment with the satellite" by full use of an upper air observation equipment, "GPS Radiosonde" technology as mentioned below.
1. Contribution to local technical education and use promotion of cube satellite
acquisition data
2. Technical proof of the micro heat infrared camera
We will be required to carry out our detailed engineering studies on it and expect the launch towards September 2012. Now our Cube Satellite will take off for the Space. We would appreciate it if you would pay your keen attention how developed by all means.
