Great! "HAYABUSA"

JAXA has announced that the fine particles in the capsule brought by the "HAYABUSA" is the asteroid "Itokawa" origin. Please see JAXA’s press release as follows.

The 1,500 pcs of collected particles made a dreamy impression on us newly. Furthermore, the detailed analysis to be performed will enhance our expectation to new discovery.

The "Fluorescence X-Rays Spectrometer" (XRS) Meisei Electric developed is installed on the "HAYABYSA" and performs the data collection to examine the composition of the main elements such as surface rocks when approaching to the asteroid "Itokawa", and transmits it to the earth. In the press release, it is specified with illustrations to be required to meet with the data of the surface materials by the "XRS" as one of the grounds of this "Itokawa" origin.

Now here in Japan our dreamy hope is spread towards the space. Meisei Electric has sent the observation instruments to the space more than 2,500 units so far. A dream and romance to the space which everyone feels! There is Meisei Electric's state-of-the-art pursuing the truth in the dream.
