Employment of Practical Realization Development for" CO2 Continuous Analyzers" by JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency)

Meisei Electric's proposal "Optical Carbon Dioxide Continuous Analyzers Aiming at Global Standards" was submitted and employed for “Year 2010 New Developing Theme Prototype Validation and Practical Realization Program” by JST Industry-University Cooperative and Innovative Acceleration Business "Development of Systems and Technology for Advanced Measurement and Analysis" on August 20, 2010. This is a Industry-University Cooperation Development between Meisei Electric and RIHN (Research Institute for Humanity and Nature)

This development covers the greenhouse gas (CO2) measurement of the atmospheric earth for the measurement (time range and area) so far uncovered by the satellite observation and the CO2 measurement such as forest fire by the physics measurement using the wavelength of the light instead of conventional chemical analysis observation on ground, plane or satellite. When deployed, it will contribute greatly to the warming issue by rapid expansion of the observation network. In addition, Meisei Electric is going to share with each country to work on it through future international conferences when it is adopted and deployed as WMO’s(World Meteorological Organization)global standards method all over the world.

JST discusses and financially supports superior research and development issues for the promotion of science and technology as an independent administrative agency of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It supports not only the Industry-University Cooperation but the promotion of social activity.
