Thanks for 7-year Extended Journey "HAYABUSA"
The asteroid space probe "HAYABUSA" finished an about 6,000,000,000km of long journey in total navigation distance and returned safely on the earth on June 13, 2010 (Sunday) after about 7 years since the launch.
The “HAYABUSA” carried Meisei Electric’s developed “X-Ray Spectrometer” (XRS). The XRS performed the data collection to examine main elemental composition such as surface rocks of the asteroid "ITOKAWA" and transmitted it to the earth.
As mentioned above Meisei Electric’s products are being enjoyed widely in the fields of Space observation.
